Dr. Maria Colaiacovo completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Queens University. She continued her studies at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where she graduated with Honours, and was especially recognized for her achievements in both restorative and preventative Dentistry.

Dr. Colaiacovo furthered here skills in various aspects of dental medicine by completing the Residency Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. It is here that she gained invaluable experience treating medically compromised and special needs patients. During her tenure as a resident, she devolped advance skills in oral-surgical procedures and in managing oral-facial trauma. Dr. Colaiacovo still maintains her hospital privileges as a part-time dentist at Mt. Sinai Hospital's Dental Clinic.

Dr. Colaiacovo participates in several continuing education programs as a current member of the Ontario Dental Association, The Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club, and the Toronto Central Dental Society. She is also a past member of the George Hare Endodontic Study Club.
